Trios Steakhouse: Watseka’s Cozy Spot for Perfect Steaks & Hearty Comfort Food

We have a suggestion for the owner. There used to be a restaurant in Villa Park that served blackened Cajun prime rib. The restaurant closed. We have yet to find another restaurant that serves that, I believe if you serve that dish you would bring in a lot more patrons. Nicely decorated! Clean! We were seated right away and given warm homemade bread which was so good! My husband and I both ordered the 6 oz filet mignon omg it was so good, cooked to perfection, my husband ordered the onion rings with his meal he said they were the best he ever had. The only issue I had was the hostess did not speak English at all and the waiter was very hard to understand, his English was not good. But they were all super friendly and ready to help. Besides that we're looking forward to our next meal at Trios. So excited to have a good steakhouse in town.. update went again still great food.

New Steakhouse Review – Worth Every Bite! Just tried the new steakhouse in town, and wow—what a hidden gem! As soon as I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and warm service set the tone. They have a salad bar that, while not massive, offers a few great quality choices—fresh, crisp, and well-curated. A perfect start to the meal! But let’s talk about the real stars: The roast beef? It literally melted in my mouth. Tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The meatloaf was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had—moist, flavorful, and that glaze? To die for. And the parmesan chicken wings? Seasonally blended and seasoned perfectly—crispy, savory, and addictive. They also have a full bar, which makes it a great spot for a date night or relaxing evening out. Highly recommend if you're a fan of hearty meals with thoughtful flavor! Can't wait to go back and try more.

Another great prime rib found this place on accident but was phenomenal food great service the prime rib was so flavorful and the sides so delicious I recommend the mac and cheese and the onion for appetizer is so crisp and.fresh we will definitely be back good job

Heard good things so had to check out Trios and was very satisfied. Not very busy for a Thursday when we arrived but that changed in time. Greeted with warm fresh bread as we sat down, a full bar with some what standard beer selection with a Mexican flare. Wife had the scallops which were tender, I had a ribeye that was cooked exactly as ordered. Salad bar was an option. Service was as you would want it to be, I was concerned that the meal would show up before I finished my salad but they did it right. I look forward to returning again to try something else.

We stopped in just after opening on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Very clean and spacious place, and all of the tables are Big! The warm bread we were greeted with as soon as we sat down was so good!! We had excellent and timely service. The onion flower and pork tenderloin were the main reason we made this stop. Onion was decent, and we were served a honey mustard sauce, different than the usual horseradish or ranch you get elsewhere. My husband said his pork tenderloin was thicker than his preference, more like a porkchop sandwich, but it was still a juicy piece of meat and still a great value. I was sold on the presentation alone, as all of the food we had looked fantastic!! I had the crispy chicken sandwich with a baked potato, both well portioned and tasty. The price for all was decent and we were pretty satisfied with our visit. Definitely worth the support if in the area!!

We have been twice recently, and the food and service was very good. We really liked the chicken and pork options. The steak had wonderful flavor, but was a little tough (but still good). The bread, salad bar, and sides are very tasty as well. (We really enjoyed the wild rice with the chicken) Very nice place to eat in town if you want a more upscale meal. Not a lot of options in town, so it is nice to have this gem locally. Very pleasant staff, and the restaurant is clean! Give them a try!

I most definitely recommend the chicken there. Even though it says "Steak House," there chicken is really good. I didn't really like the spaghetti. I feel like a little bit of the people that I talked to, I didn't really understand them that well. Other than that, they all were nice and asked if we wanted more bread, more drinks, and even boxes. When I first walked in there, the front of the place was looking alright, but then I got closet to the back where all of the chairs were at, and it just felt empty. There are a lot of chairs and not really much to look at. I feel like the lights in there could hang down more to make it look fuller. The outside of the building needs more work as well. More things need to be catching people's eyes. I'm not sure why when we got the bill, it was saying cash is less expensive than no cash.
